This one day course will provide participants with the latest statutes and court opinions affecting law enforcement personnel in Michigan.  The course materials emphasize statutes and case law that are most relevant to police officers and police supervisors in Michigan, and includes state statutes, federal statutes, Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, Federal 6th Circuit cases, and United States Supreme Court Opinions.

In addition to providing the most current statutory revisions and court opinions, this course also provides a review of some of the most important legal topics, providing a valuable refresher that even the most experienced personnel will benefit from.

This course is designed for patrol officers, patrol supervisors, and police personnel of all rank and assignments (police officers, detectives, narcotics/surveillance, K9, command, and chiefs/directors).
